Lehigh Valley Men's Senior Baseball League Fall League Information

The Lehigh Valley MSBL/MABL Fall League gives players an opportunity to play with an MSBL/MABL team. Many players who attend the fall league haven't played organized baseball since college, high school or little league. We have four Age Divisions starting at 18 (MABL), 25 (MSBL), 35 (MSBL) and 45 (MSBL). Managers are always looking for new talent and dedicated players. The fall league is a way to get involved, test your ability and learn about the league.

Lehigh Valley MSBL/MABL Fall League Details

The Lehigh Valley MSBL/MABL Fall League starts in October and runs through early November. The league accepts individual players or complete teams with the registration.

Fall League Registration is $25 per player. The league schedules five games with a playoff system. 

Basic eligibility criteria for the fall league is:

• Minimum 18 years of age (Copy of Photo ID Required)
• All registered players must sign a league waiver to be eligible to play.
• Legal Resident of the United States

What can a player expect playing in the fall league?

• A minimum of five league games at various fields.
• Playing on a team of players who have a real passion for the game of baseball.
• An opportunity to learn more about the league, age groups and general competition.
• A sample of league talent that exists during the regular season.
• Teams that are fun and enjoy playing a little more baseball in the fall.

18/25 Age Group 1
35/45 Age Group 2

Up to 12 Teams per age group- 2 Divisions in each group
5 total games against each division opponent
Top team from each division faces off in Championship Game
No Age Group crossover games

Approximate team costs:
Balls @ $50 per dozen, umpires at $64 per game
Player Costs - $25 registration fee
Double-roster players allowed - one registration fee per player

All games are nine innings
Strict 3 hour time limit - Game is over at 3 hours regardless of score or circumstance
Win = 2 points, Tie = 1 point, Loss = 0 points, Forfeit = -1 point
Ties decided by head to head match ups, then by run differential

Any team that forfeits any game will not qualify for championship game regardless of record

All games will be played on Sundays each week
18/25 group plays at 10:30, 35/45 group plays at 2:00

Minimum of 15 players per roster, no maximum
Managers are encouraged to involve all players in each game
Minimum of 10 batters in line-up, if less than 10 are present for game all players must bat.
Minimum of 8 players to play game, any less is forfeit; however teams are encouraged to share players in the event that an opponent is short on personnel. All borrowed players must be in offensive line-up.

Teams do not need matching uniforms, but all safety and protective gear is required.

All other rules follow LVMSBL guidelines.

Team registrations are due by September 4th, individual registrations due by September 11th. Late registrations may be accepted based on team roster needs. Registration forms and fees should be mailed to the address on the bottom of the registration form.

Fall League play begins September 18th. Championship games to be held on October 23rd.
